Dean G. Andrews, Captain, RCAF

Captain Dean Gordon Andrews was born in East York, Ontario on November 10, 1956. He attended elementary and secondary schools in East York and after graduating attended Canadore College in North Bay where he received a diploma in Food Science Technology.

His military career saw training as an Air Weapons Control Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was posted to the NORAD Base in North Bay and served the RCAF for 12 years. He was honourably discharged on medical grounds.

He never married but was the adored uncle of 3 nieces, Ginny, Rachel and Jordan, and his nephew, Geoff.

One of his favourite pastimes was to travel. He died February 5,

2003, and is buried in St. James Cemetery, Toronto.
