Marshall Mayhew

Died: August 4, 1994 – Age 74
Marshall Mayhew enlisted in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps on June 29, 1940, in Montreal, at the age of 20. He served as a wireless operator and troop sergeant with the Royal Canadian Dragoons, completing 64 months of service, including 45 months overseas in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, Holland, and Germany.
For his dedication and bravery, Marshall was awarded the Italy Star, Defence Medal, France and Germany Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Ribbon and Clasp, and the War Medal.
After being discharged on October 24, 1945, he returned home to civilian life.
